The organic urban farm Old Gaffer’s Garden was founded in late 2020 to find a way to bring more agriculture and green space back into
Short version: I farm peoples’ yards! Instead of a centralized location or one big field, OGG is made up of multiple gardens in lots scattered around the city and suburbs.
You can find us selling produce at farmer’s markets around town, as well as featured in dishes at local stores and restaurants like Sugarbeet Food Co-op, Autre Monde, Taco Mucho, and La Barra Riverside.
We also deliver!

ABOUT THE FARM
Old Gaffer’s Garden aims to find vacant lots and empty green spaces in Chicagoland and convert them into vegetable gardens. All the produce on our menu is grown right here in Chicagoland. It doesn’t get more local than that.
